Hoppy Easter!

Somehow, the Easter Bunny found us in our obscure location and brought us Easter baskets! We had a great morning, searching for hidden eggs around the apartment, barely making it to our ward which started at 8:30 A.M. If you think 9:00 church is hard to get up for, you have no idea.

Our First Apartment

The Ghetto of Provo--that's where we made our first home. Here is Aaron standing in the front room of the apartment, which lacked internet connection and smelled like meth. Although we didn't get any TV channels, we had plenty of sound effects provided by the neighboring apartments (most of which were scary). It was the bottom corner of a fourplex, and not surprisingly we only met one of our three neighbors in the four months we were there. He asked Aaron if he had any smokes. Ha ha. In all fairness though, we had many precious hours of happiness there, glad to just be together finally. Welcome to Happy Valley!

The Honeymoon

No, the postings are not out of order...we actually stuck around after we got married until after Christmas to be with the fams and then we went on our Honeymoon to Mesa, Arizona. One of Aaron's best friends Erik Payne invited us to his wedding to Amber and his sweet family put us up in a "honeymoon suite" in their home for a week of GREAT weather and fun. This is a digital scrapbook page I made of the Payne's wedding...our little adventure:)

Our First Christmas

We got married only 5 days before Christmas so we spent Christmas Eve with the Chamberlain side and Christmas Day with the Sorensons. We saved almost all of our wedding presents to open on Christmas and we will never have so many presents at one time ever again! Needless to say, it was the best Christmas yet!

When it all started...

Well, since this is our blog we thought we'd start with the beginning of our life together and what led up to it...We met when we were about 15, were best friends in high school, and years later on December 20, 2008 we got married in the Manti, Utah temple. The luncheon and wedding reception were beautiful (thanks to our wonderful mothers), and my mom even made my wedding dress and my lovely cake! Anyway, that was the beginning of it all... (Photos courtesy of many family photographers, mainly Jenn and Dan Schmidt--thanks a ton!)

Take 1

Hi! This is Aaron and Judy's first attempt at a blog :-) We are out here in Missouri for the summer and with some spare time on our hands we thought we'd keep everyone posted in a fun sort of way...so hopefully you have fun checking it out!
P.S. Check out our video bar at the bottom of the page...you MUST watch the first video featured of the Asian kid singing Hey Jude. It just goes to show that the Asian persuasion is seriously talented. Honestly, we haven't even watched any of the other videos.
